Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya Holds ‘Janata Darshan’ Program
Lucknow – March 16, 2026: Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya assured the complainants who attended the Janata Darshan program that every possible effort would be made to resolve their problems. He directed officials to ensure that each grievance is addressed promptly and satisfactorily.
He emphasized that officers must take full responsibility for resolving the issues raised by the public. Special attention should be given to cases of harassment and illegal occupation of land, and strict action should be taken wherever necessary.
On Monday, the Deputy Chief Minister met people from various districts at his camp office located at 7 Kalidas Marg in Lucknow, where he listened to their problems during the public grievance hearing.
During the session, he patiently heard each individual’s concern and instructed the concerned officials to resolve them effectively. He also directed that grievances should be resolved in such a way that the affected person feels completely satisfied and does not have to make repeated visits or run from office to office.
He also listened to the problems and complaints of women, differently-abled persons, and senior citizens, and instructed officials to prioritize their cases and ensure swift resolution.
During the Janata Darshan, people from different districts of the state presented issues related to land disputes, accidents, illegal encroachments, education, health, housing allotment, restoration of land possession, removal of encroachments, road construction, electricity supply, arrest of accused persons, and cases of harassment.
The Deputy Chief Minister personally walked up to the complainants and interacted with them directly while listening to their grievances.
Hundreds of people attended the program and presented their problems. Regarding the resolution of these issues, the Deputy Chief Minister spoke over the phone with District Magistrates of Bulandshahr, Mirzapur, Ambedkar Nagar, Shamli, Pratapgarh, and Farrukhabad, as well as Superintendents of Police from Sambhal, Chitrakoot, Lalitpur, Badaun, Shamli, Raebareli, and Bahraich, and issued necessary instructions to them along with other senior government officials.
